world without roads. we'll make 'em.

Far East Movement ft Ryan Tedder - Rocketeer.

Remember having that tingly feeling behind your neck when you were going to have that first kiss? Sweaty palms, quick heartbeat, flashbacks of the Hollywood kisses, weak knees and you close your eyes, shifting all your senses to your lips.

Everyone has theirs at different ages, and most of the ones I've heard is quite heart warming. It didn't matter if the relationship work out or not. I recalled talking bout this with a few crew onboard and surprisingly one is married to his (not-so)childhood sweetheart whom he first met when she was working part time as a waitress for his cousin's wedding dinner.

FK gave me the impression that it is so magical, probably because of the fairytale stories. True love's first kiss is the only way to break a spell right? Quite a standard line. So does that mean we gotta kiss a lot of frogs first before finding for that prince? Man that's quite a lot of frogs to kiss.

Well I grew out of that. Cos honestly, the world isn't as simple as before. People aren't as simple as before. Unlike my colleague, not everyone is all that lucky who hit the jackpot. Which explains the high rate of divorce and singlehood. Most are being such gamophobics due to many factors, and one of them is people have forgotten the real meaning of commitment as they thought of it as 'being tied-down'. True that we can all find happiness on our own, but we are missing what's on the other side; a happiness you cannot find alone.

How do you consider a first kiss? The first time when you touch a guy's lips or the first time you felt the tingle even before kissing? I'd like to say mine is latter cos my first time experience is rather.. urmm.. How do I describe it? Kissing a rock under a waterfall and this is due to an obligation for a birthday boy who was my boyfriend back then. Hilariously it wasn't as romantic as I expect my first time to be and the first thing that ran in my mind, if this is something that everyone is so crazy about, count me OUT.

Of course, I was proven wrong by a guy who made my senses tingle in the beach. Good 7 years ago.

So back to the colleague of mine who married his sweetheart(anyway he's 48 now), he told me, "I still feel the tingles sometimes whenever we shared that kiss. Guess that's love or she's just a good kisser."

All right what has this video gotta do with my current post? Absolutely nothing, I just love it =) It just reminded me of the tingles I just had, when the world has not roads. Just you and me.

* rock it like there is no tomorrow. we are the inventors of our own tomorrow *
